Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Crawl-Space Connect (“we,” “us”) collects, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Crawl-Space Connect web application, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). Crawl-Space Connect LLC is the controller of personal data processed through the Service.
1. Categories of data we collect
Account data. Name, email, phone (optional), role (homeowner, property manager, or trade partner), authentication credentials, and account preferences.
Property data (homeowners and property managers). Property address, county, construction notes, crawlspace type, access permissions, and any notes added to the property profile.
Crawlspace Blueprints™ media. 2D plan-view maps, 3D-Crawlspaces™ structural models, 360° Space-Crawler™ panorama captures, zone pins, findings, and readings (RH, WMC, and other diagnostic values) captured during authorized documentation events. Crawlspace Blueprints™ are created exclusively by Crawl-Space Connect's authorized inspection and editor workflow; homeowners and other end users do not upload or self-author Blueprint media.
Record content. Maintenance events, correction records, follow-up notes, photos pinned to zones, document-vault attachments (inspection reports, invoices, warranties, permits), and access logs.
Trade partner business data. Legal and display business name, business contact, service area (counties), trade categories, license and insurance documents uploaded for verification, and EPA certification where applicable.
Activity data. Login activity, permission grants and revocations, exports, notifications sent and received, in-product actions, and usage analytics (aggregate, non-behavioral).
Billing data. Subscription tier, status, and identifiers. Billing is handled by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for behavioral advertising. We do not run third-party ad pixels on the Service.
3. How access works inside the Service
Access is enforced by row-level security at the database layer, not in the client. The four permission scopes are defined in the Terms (Owner, Contributor, Viewer, No-access). In summary: homeowners see only their own property records and Crawlspace Blueprints™; property managers see only the records they are authorized to manage; trade partners see only records to which they have been invited; Crawl-Space Connect administrative and inspection/editor staff access records only as necessary to operate the Service or to respond to a support request. Every record view is logged and visible to the record owner.
4. Sub-processors
We use the following sub-processors to operate the Service. Each processes data on our behalf under its own contractual terms and applicable data-protection commitments.
| Sub-processor | Purpose |

5. Data transfer
Property data, account data, and Crawlspace Blueprints™ media are stored on infrastructure in the United States. Where we transfer personal data of users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, where applicable) with our sub-processors. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or above) and at rest (AES-256).
6. Retention

9. International users
EEA / UK / Switzerland. If you access the Service from these regions, our processing is governed by GDPR and equivalent law. Our EU representative (if required) and UK representative (if required) will be published before EEA/UK marketing begins. Until then, the Service is operated primarily for US users.
10. Children's data
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (under 13 where COPPA applies). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.
11. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, row-level access enforcement at the database layer, principle-of-least-privilege staff access, mandatory MFA on staff accounts, and routine vulnerability scanning. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect a security incident, write to crawlspaceconnect@gmail.com.
12. Breach notification
If we determine that a security incident has resulted in unauthorized access to your personal data and creates a material risk to you, we will notify you by email and, where required by law, the appropriate regulator within 72 hours of becoming aware, or as required by applicable law. The notification will describe the nature of the incident, the categories of data affected, the steps we are taking, and the steps you can take.
13. Cookies and tracking
See the Cookie Policy.
14. Trademarks and licensing
Crawlspace Blueprints™, 3D-Crawlspaces™, 360° Space-Crawler™, and The Crawlspace Blueprint Registry™ are trademarks of Crawl-Space Connect LLC. No end user — homeowner, property manager, or trade partner — may generate, upload, create, or self-author a Crawlspace Blueprint™. 15. Changes to this Policy
Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date and, where feasible, notified by email to active account holders at least 30 days in advance.
